ARTIMUS Sponsors Wales’ first Artificial Intelligence Group
We are delighted to announce that ARTIMUS has co-founded AI Wales – a Cardiff-based meetup which holds talks, training sessions and hands-on workshops which explores the opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
The aim of AI Wales is to raise awareness and inform our guests on how AI can help their businesses reach the next level of competence. Our group’s first talk will be held at Tramshed Tech, Pendyris Street on Thursday the 1st of February where we are sponsoring the event and focusing on the topic of Machine Learning, delivered by Jaymie Thomas (CTO of Automise), David Pugh (Technology Specialist), and our very own Toby White (Founder at ARTIMUS).
So how did this all begin? Well, Jaymie first met David last September where they both held firm interests in the AI space. They came to a conclusion where they wanted to launch a series of AI events around Cardiff. They noticed that there was a huge gap in the local meet-up scene regarding Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. So, they decided to team up with Toby from ARTIMUS, which are one of Cardiff’s leading AI specialists, to deliver talks in educating people on how these technologies can easily be used to help work alongside us and help our businesses grow.
Set to take place monthly, the talks will be aimed at anyone who is willing to learn about the world of Artificial Intelligence from scratch and to anyone who is eager to explore and discuss how the latest trends in a constantly evolving area can be made into mainstream technologies.
We want these talks to be shaped by the direction of the group so that we can give people the information they want to learn.
